Upgrade or change your Plan
This page covers moving from a Free Plan to a paid Plan, or switching between paid Plans. Cancellations and card updates happen in Stripe’s billing portal — covered briefly at the end.
Pick a Plan
Section titled “Pick a Plan”-
Click Pricing in the top nav, or open
voiceqc.com/pricingdirectly. You can be signed in or signed out; either works. -
Scan the Plan cards. The one marked Most Popular is the team’s recommended choice; the one with a green Current Plan badge (if signed in) is the one you’re on.

Click the CTA on the Plan you want. For Free Plans the button reads Get Started; for paid Plans it reads Select Plan.
What happens next depends on your state:

Complete checkout
Section titled “Complete checkout”For paid Plans, you land on the Checkout page (/checkout?plan=...). Heading: Complete Your Purchase. Subhead: Secure checkout powered by Stripe.

The Stripe checkout form loads inside the page (no redirect). If you see Preparing checkout… for more than a few seconds, refresh — the loading state shouldn’t last long.

Enter your billing details directly in the embedded form: email, name, card number, address. This is Stripe’s form; VoiceQC never sees your card details.

Click the submit button at the bottom of the Stripe form to complete the purchase.
If Stripe rejects the card, the error shows in the form — fix it and resubmit. If VoiceQC can’t open the checkout in the first place you’ll see Unable to Start Checkout with Try Again and Back to Pricing buttons.
What happens after payment?
Section titled “What happens after payment?”On success you land on /billing/success. A green checkmark and the message Payment Successful! Your subscription is now active and you have access to all premium features.
A 5-second countdown auto-redirects you to your Session page. You can also click Go to Dashboard Now to skip the countdown, or View Billing to jump to /settings/billing.
Verify the change
Section titled “Verify the change”Open Billing settings (/settings/billing) or the Usage page (/usage).
- Current Plan should now show the Plan you just picked.
- The status badge should be green (Active).
- The renewal date should be set (paid Plans only).
- On the Usage page, the included quantities for characters and items should reflect the new Plan’s limits.
If you see the old Plan name, give it a few seconds — billing data refreshes on navigation. If it still looks wrong after a minute, refresh the page.
Change card, cancel, or download invoices
Section titled “Change card, cancel, or download invoices”VoiceQC routes all post-checkout billing through Stripe’s customer portal.

Open
/settings/billing. -
Click Manage Subscription.

You’re redirected to Stripe’s hosted billing portal, where you can update your card, change billing address, cancel, download invoices, and so on.

When you finish, Stripe sends you back to VoiceQC.
